goals
M.ARCH is a full-time master’s degree in English of 1180 hours, dedicated to learning the main technical and methodological innovations of Computational Architecture.
The course accompanies students into the new digital paradigm, and make them able to gain practical experience on future trends of computational architecture, generative design, algorithmic analysis, design optimization, digital fabrication and smart kinetic systems.
The Master’s program allows students to develop skills in computational design under Grasshopper3D and Rhino 3D software environment.
structure
The M.ARCH’s workflow is an organic and integrated process of activities, where students will learn how architecture can be controlled and driven through its parameters.
It will be articulated into 6 modules held by international professionals coming from University and Research, and it is completed with a 3-month internship to be held in private companies, design studios and European Fablabs.
After the internship, all students are required to work and finalize their application project under the supervision of professors.
The final evaluation of the projects will be on the first week of October 2025 followed by the graduation ceremony and certificates distribution.

module 04_digital fabrication and structural optimization
Particular attention is paid to the prototyping development of the project, through an innovative phygital approach called Real to Real.
In the course of the work, parametric patterns will be developed using the Parakeet Grasshopper’s application and printable surfaces and moulds will be produced using CNC machines.
